History
The initiative for the establishment of the Balkan Olympiad in Informatics (BOI) came from Romania who organized the 1st BOI in Costantza, Romania. Dr. Stelian Niculescu, Dr. Choria Georgeskou, Dr. Clara Ionescou were, among others, the driving force of that first unforgettable event.
